It’s one of the greatest comeback stories of all times. My newsfeed is full of the story today, and I imagine yours is, too.

Tiger Woods hadn’t won a single major golf tournament in 11 years. He ended that particular drought this weekend by winning the Masters.

I don’t even watch golf, and I’ve been fascinated by his victory. As most of us can clearly remember, Tiger Woods had it all. And then he didn’t. His fall wasn’t a particular pretty one. It included infidelity, divorce, multiple injuries, an arrest, rehab, and years without winning a major tournament. All very devastating, I’m sure, and also very, very public.

Many people said he was done. A comeback just wasn’t in the cards for Tiger. Yesterday, with the whole world watching, he proved them all wrong.

Again, I’m not a golf fan, but there are some worthwhile lessons here we can all take note of, no matter our particular arena. Let’s try to break it down.
