This is really, really good, Ethan. I joined Medium last month on a whim and a friend’s suggestion. I’ve been blogging for years and I had begun to feel tired of fighting algorithms and SEO and all the behind-the-scenes of it all.

I’ve been very pleasantly surprised at how much I’ve enjoyed writing here about topics completely unrelated to my blog niche. I’m making a small fraction of what I make blogging, and putting in a lot more time, but the community here has been genuine, kind and incredibly welcoming, and I feel as though my stories are really helping people.

I’m still figuring out my voice but, so far, this space just feels really good and I’m looking forward to see where it leads.
